چکیده
Abstract Amine absorption processes designed to remove acid gases from gas streams generally face a major challenge of solvent degradation. This degradation leads the formation heat-stable salts (HSS), corrosive agents that irreversibly bind free alkanolamine. The present study proposes, for first time, method HSS perstraction using liquid–liquid membrane contactor allows transfer through porous membranes into hydrophobic extractant represented by methyltrioctylammonium solution in 1-octanol. provides selective extraction anions without direct mixing liquid phases or stable emulsions and extractant. For this purpose, number industrial laboratory samples fabricated polyvinylidene fluoride, polypropylene, polysulfone were investigated. Their chemical morphological stability, surface properties, transport properties tested under prolonged (>600 h) contact with model (an aqueous monoethanolamine solution) components feasibility was demonstrated formic (as an model) solvent. most promising results obtained system fluoride membrane: up 50% extracted over 18 h.

Thermodynamic quantities of surface formation of aqueous electrolyte solutions: IX. Aqueous solutions of ammonium salts.
The properties of aqueous ammonium salt solutions at the air/water surface are presented. By comparison of the properties of ammonium halides solutions with those of sodium halide, we note a close similarity, which indicates that the increments in surface tension may be explained in relation to the hydration enthalpy of anions. We find that the behaviors of the salts with nitrate anions which a...
متن کاملStable aqueous solutions of naked titanate nanotubes.
Aqueous solutions of naked nanotubes with Ti concentration up to 10 mM are obtained by hydrothermal synthesis followed by extensive ultrasound treatment. The morphology, surface characteristics, and solution behavior of the solubilized nanotubes are investigated. The time course of the solubilization process driven by ultrasound follows a first-order kinetic law and is mediated by the competiti...
متن کاملMicelle Formation in Aqueous Solutions of Bile Salts
The solubility of fatty acids and cholesterol in bile does not appear to be due to the formation of soluble compounds of the choleic acid type. The bile is made up chiefly of the conjugated bile salts and such compounds with conjugated bile acids or salts have not been isolated (1). It is generally agreed that the solution of oils in aqueous solutions of soaps is associated with the micelle for...

At ε≈35 , 100%KCl, 58% NaCl , and 0.0%LiCl is separated from an aqueous solution mixture . Repeated procedures at selected dielectric constants achieved complete fractional separation of the three salts. Resul...
متن کاملCorrelation of Viscosity of Aqueous Solutions of Alkanolamine Mixtures Based on the Eyring's Theory and Wong-Sandler Mixing Rule
A viscosity model, based on Eyring’s absolute rate theory combined with a cubic PR equation of state and Wong-Sandler mixing rule, has been proposed in order to correlate viscosities of aqueous solutions of alkanolamine mixtures at atmospheric pressure and different temperatures. In the proposed method, the energy and size parameters in studied Equation of State (EoS) have been obtained usi...
